MindOverFour I just discovered this band. All aspects are exceptional: vocals, instruments, composition. If I had to say what it sounds like, I would say a more metal Kansas, with Queen like guitar parts, and Blind Guardian-like sense of orchestration and story telling. The connection to 70s prog (in a lot of aspects) makes this such an enjoyable journey. Favorite track: Sailing North.

PKMetal This album didn't quite grab me when I first heard it. But I got better. Based on this and their past output, I now realize that Heart of Cygnus is approaching planet Ayreon, where the most valuable prog metal concept albums in the universe are mined.

In fact, they do it so well, you could even fairly say that Heart of Cygnus is a planet in its own right. I hope they start their mines up again one day!

A Becker This album is fun! It would make a great soundtrack to a gaming session. Metal can take itself too seriously sometimes but not here! Great entertaining songs with some really fine guitar licks. A good time from start to finish.
